Product Design Engineer -Water Heater ,Navi Mumbai

Expertise in Designing Water Heater Structure and implementing processes that will enable product to consistently meet Structural requirements and enhance customer satisfaction.

Major Areas of Responsibilities

• Work closely with Industrial Design (external as well as internal) & Product teams to develop concepts and carry the development through to manufacturing.
• Design high volume & high cosmetic plastic and metal parts, Aluminum Die Casting, Extrusion components, rubber parts and specifying finish
• Develop rapid prototypes and be comfortable in the machine shop
• Effectively communicate your designs in CAD, Keynote, and in front of a group
• Work with various engineering and customer engineer functions in developing layout, solid models, assembly and detailing of Product Subsystems, components, and interface structures etc. using CAD/PLM tools like Creo Parametric
• Create BOM, draft 2D drawings, Create Baloon Diagrams and conduct part inspection
• Execute reverse engineering projects and engage with external agencies to ensuring timely completion
• Participate in NPD process from concept to part realization
• Maintain Documents control and design change management
• Design checking and design validation of the CAD models and 2D drawings for GDT
• Review, comprehend and use simulation tools for calculations

Requirement

We are looking for a highly skilled product design engineer who will ensure product design in 3D with form fit and function ensured. He will take up projects from product brief to prototype and tooling and help convert them to manufacturing level designs

Essential Qualification: BE Mechanical

Desired Qualification:

Experience: Minimum 5 years

Industry Preference: Consumer Durables, Water Heaters, Automotive
