Job Description


A system design and tester is required to study new IT solutions & assess impacts of deploying the solution from functional capability & usability standpoint. This role owns the end to end end-user acceptance testing process and is required to develop use-cases for functionality; perform functionality testing and coordinate with IT team /vendors for bug-fixes. The role is responsible for a seamless go-live experience to the end user.

Major purpose of the job:
Understand the business requirement and solution provided and identify impacts across systems used for service delivery.
Develop use-cases for functionality and test the product delivered by IT/Vendor for compliance to business requirements defined & solution signed-off by stakeholders
Track defects and facilitate fixes for defects identified which includes deployment of necessary audits and prioritization of defects along with business impact & requirement document for the defects.
Test the product / Service (Involve functional stakeholder
Coordinate with BA & IT/Vendor for bug fixes
Track and publish bugs identified and status of fixes
Facilitate enduser training and monitor adoption thereon.
Facilitate seamless go-live from an end-user experience standpoint (Can be an internal user / a subscriber)
Post production review of functionalities
Handle key configuration related to Charges as part of testing
Should be familiar with application testing tools
Should have a good understanding of service delivery platforms
2-3 years of overall work experience with at least 1 year relevant experience.
Track & monitor all system functionality queries & issues & take it up with relevant teams for resolution
Project support the Project Manager on field related testing functionalities and process documentation
Perform regular audits on WOs, IDs, Service regions, mobile numbers, Asset status.
Manage configuration changes with respect to Work Orders

Is familiar with and equipped with know how / tools required for product testing
Understands Technology (Good understanding of various technology platforms that support customer service delivery)
Understands business changes / challenges and has the ability to identify technology support requirements to achieve business objectives.
Should have an eye for details and be meticulous in his/er approach. Ability to document details a must.
Track and publish a weekly tracker on UATs done along with status of defects
Publish the user acceptance sign-off report to all stakeholders along with a check list of checks done/use-cases tested
Inter-departmental & Cross-functional coordination
Best practice sharing amongst team members

Salary: INR 5,00,000 - 10,00,000 PA.
